Robert Bosch, former Dutch Ambassador to Kosovo, has stated that he could not publicly express his opposition when the Special Court was being established, but in private conversations, he was strongly against it.

Bosch emphasized that, while he was required to support the creation of the court at that time, he privately disagreed with it. “At that time, I had to support it, but to the people I spoke to informally, I said I didn’t agree with it. The reason was… I never believed in organ trafficking, because Serbs made such accusations in Bosnia, and it was something fabricated without any proof. The same goes for here,” Bosch explained in an interview with KlanKosova.

He also pointed out that the creation of a court that only targets Albanians, and not Serbs, is problematic.

“Serbs have been convicted in their own country… but how many have been convicted? Zero!” Bosch stated.

Furthermore, Bosch mentioned the significant international pressure for the creation of the Special Court due to organ trafficking allegations, which were later dismissed. He questioned why the court’s formation continued after these allegations were proven false.
