Members of the Kosovo Assembly had no worries when it came to phone usage in 2024, as taxpayers footed the bill for their mobile expenses.
According to Interaktiv Talks, around €40,000 (€38,190) was spent by MPs through the state-owned telecom provider Vala during the year.
Official data from the Assembly shows that the highest spender was PDK Deputy Speaker Enver Hoxhaj, who used over €1,000 (with a €100 monthly limit). Others with significant expenditures included Mimoza Kusari-Lila (VV), Besnik Tahiri (AAK), and Arben Gashi (LDK), each spending €720. Even millionaire MP Valon Ramadani (VV) received €480 worth of top-ups from the Assembly.
What may surprise many is who spent the least, and which party leaders accepted or rejected Vala top-ups altogether.
