Strong tremors were recorded in the early morning hours in Albania.
The first earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.5, struck at 05:04 AM, 16 kilometers northwest of Tirana.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), several aftershocks followed, with magnitudes of 2.2, 2.6, then 3.0 and 3.4.
The latest was recorded at 05:45 AM, 20 kilometers northwest of Tirana.
So far, no injuries or material damage have been reported.
