Croatia was hit tonight by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale.
According to EMSC, the earthquake occurred at 18:43.
The tremor was felt strongly in the areas around Zadar, near Posedarje, and parts of Lika.
As reported by index.hr, the earthquake was so strong that people left their homes.
