Edi Rama has reacted on the social media platform X following Friday’s opposition protest in Tirana, which, according to reports, also affected the area surrounding the Namazgah Mosque.
In a brief post, the Albanian Prime Minister shared a photo of the mosque accompanied by the message:
“When plague drives doggishness to the door of the mosque…”
Rama’s reaction comes after tensions were reported during the opposition rally organized by the Democratic Party of Albania.
Friday’s protest took place along several major axes of the capital and was marked by chants against the government.
