Linda Rama, the wife of the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, at the memorial meeting for Haxhi Thaçi, said that on this sad day, she is by the side of Hashim Thaçi’s mother.
She also expressed that she is there to stand by the entire Thaçi family.
“This is a sad day, and on this sad day, I am here with you, Mother Hyrë, first and foremost because I know well what it means to be the parent of a politician, especially the mother of a politician. I have experienced it next to Edi’s mother, and on this sad day, I am here with all of your family, who today are missing two men. I also know better what it means to be the wife of a politician, let alone the wife of a leader, where strong winds constantly blow and never stop, something I experienced every day.”
