Kosovan forward Edon Zhegrova has reached an agreement with Olympique de Marseille, according to French media reports. After several days of intensive negotiations, both parties have found common ground, with only the official announcement of the transfer from Lille to the French club remaining.
The move comes as a surprise, as recent reports in Italy suggested a possible deal between Zhegrova and Juventus, with the Serie A club appearing as the favorites to secure the 26-year-old.
Zhegrova, who recently obtained a European passport, is expected to be one of Marseille’s key signings for the upcoming Ligue 1 season.
