The central celebration for Eid al-Fitr in Kosovo, as every year, is being held at the Grand Mosque in Prishtina.
The event began at 05:41 with the Fajr prayer, while the Muslim community performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer today at 06:59.
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the leadership of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) is traditionally organizing a welcoming event at the headquarters of the Presidency.
The celebrations are also accompanied by various social activities, with an emphasis on the values of solidarity and helping those in need.
