The British Embassy in Tirana has reacted through a Facebook post regarding the election of the new head of SPAK, which is expected to take place tomorrow, December 11.
The Embassy emphasized how important this step is for Albania in strengthening the rule of law, especially through a transparent process.
“The election of the Head of SPAK is an important step in Albania’s progress toward strengthening the rule of law and the fight against corruption.”
“It is essential that the High Council of Prosecution carries out this process in a free, fair, and transparent manner. The United Kingdom looks forward to cooperating with whoever is elected in order to continue and strengthen our excellent relationship,” the British Embassy in Tirana wrote.
