The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo has released updated voter turnout figures for the local elections. So far, 659,172 citizens have voted, representing 32.55% of eligible voters.
Municipalities with the highest turnout (over 40%):
- Mamusha
- Zveçani
- Zubin Potok
- Ranillug
- Novobërda
- Hani i Elezit
- Kllokot
- Junik
- Shtërpca
Voter turnout in major cities:
- Prishtina: 39.44%
- Ferizaj: 32.25%
- Gjilan: 32.63%
- Prizren: 25.12%
- Podujevë: 36.80%
- Mitrovica e Jugut: 31.39%
Municipalities with the lowest turnout:
- Leposaviq
- Skenderaj
The CEC announced that a new update will be published at 19:00, after the polling stations close, followed by a press conference at 19:30 to present details about the election process throughout the day.
