The ballots for all Albanian voters in the diaspora, who for the first time will vote via mail, are ready. After the arrival of the material base, the Central Election Commission (CEC) will start sending the envelopes with the ballots to emigrants between April 20-25.
“Near the Olympic Park, the process of processing the electoral materials for voters from abroad has begun. The CEC administration has been divided into working groups. At the moment, they are packaging the envelopes for voters from abroad. Initially, the ballots are being verified, and then they will be sealed by the CEC, giving them legal force. The final process is packaging them in special envelopes, accompanied by the envelope with the electoral materials, and then handing them over to the postal company, which will send them to the address of the citizens registered from abroad,” reports A2 CNN.
“The CEC administration is divided according to regions, and in this way, the distribution of the ballots is done based on the electoral zone where the voters from abroad are registered.”
By April 17, the process of sending the ballots to all destinations where voters from abroad are registered is expected to be completed.
