The German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, extended his New Year’s wishes to all citizens.
In a statement on the social media platform “X,” he expressed his desire for a positive year ahead.
“Greetings to everyone. First, allow me to wish you a Happy New Year 2025. After four years in Kosovo, this will be my last year here. Four years full of events. And I want to see a good year. Germany and Kosovo have a very special relationship. It’s not just about the diaspora, but also about the many projects we’ve worked on together,” he said.
Rohde also spoke about the upcoming elections in Kosovo and Germany.
He had a message for the citizens of both countries.
“We have two very important events in February: Kosovo has elections, and we have elections. So, I appeal for everyone to vote because it is important to contribute to the future. 2025 will certainly be a year full of challenges,” said the ambassador.
The elections in Kosovo are scheduled for February 9.
