U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and tech billionaire Elon Musk had a heated exchange with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday regarding the use of Musk’s satellite system, Starlink, in Ukraine.
In response to a post from Musk mentioning the possibility of shutting down the system, Sikorski implied that any threat to close Starlink would result in a search for alternative providers.
Rubio quickly dismissed the claims that Musk would shut down the system, urging Sikorski to be grateful.
The trio continued with a back-and-forth exchange on X, which culminated with Musk calling Sikorski a “small man.”
