Elon Musk has become the first person in the world to surpass a net worth of $400 billion. According to Bloomberg, the Tesla owner now has a fortune of $439.2 billion, fueled by the valuations of Tesla and SpaceX on Wall Street.
Since Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, Musk’s wealth, which was significantly boosted by his active involvement in Trump’s campaign, has grown substantially.
In particular, Tesla has reached its highest level since 2021. And since Trump’s election, the value of Musk’s assets has seen a sharp increase. SpaceX is now valued at $350 billion, boosted by the company’s recent internal stock sale.
The price of $185 per share is much higher than the $112 seen just three months ago, making Musk’s company the most valuable private startup in the world.
“What’s crazy is that almost no investor wanted to sell shares,” Musk said, responding to rumors reported by Bloomberg, which cited an internal email from the company. SpaceX has reduced the amount of stock available for purchase by employees in order to allow new investors to come in.
