Elon Musk has seemingly taken a step back from his public clashes with former U.S. President Donald Trump, expressing regret over some of his previous social media comments.

In a recent statement, the billionaire admitted, “I regret some of my posts about Trump. I went too far.

One of the most controversial posts involved a claim that Trump’s name appeared on a list linked to Jeffrey Epstein, a publication that Musk later deleted himself.

Musk’s statement comes at a time when tensions between him and Trump had significantly escalated. It suggests that the head of X (formerly Twitter) is now seeking to de-escalate and avoid further public confrontation.
