Elon Musk’s social media platform, X, experienced yet another widespread outage on Tuesday, affecting users across the United States, India, and several other countries. This marks the second multi-region outage of the platform within the same week.
According to the outage tracking site Downdetector, user reports from India peaked at around 30 complaints around 7 PM local time. In contrast, the United States saw a significant spike, with around 400 user reports during the same time frame.
In the U.S., 49% of affected users reported problems with the website, 41% faced issues with the mobile app, and 10% mentioned server connection difficulties.
In India, 53% of users reported server connectivity problems, followed by 29% struggling with login issues, and 18% experiencing app-related disruptions, according to The Economic.
This recurring instability raises concerns about platform reliability under Musk’s leadership, especially as X seeks to rebrand and expand its global footprint in digital media.
