Elvis Rexhbeçaj was the star last night in Kosovo’s big victory over Sweden.
The Dardanians defeated Sweden 2-0 at the “Fadil Vokrri” Stadium, taking the first step toward qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
Rexhbeçaj, who scored the opening goal in the match, expressed his happiness over Kosovo’s triumph on social media, also sending a message to those who had criticized the national team.
“Last night we triumphed. Wins like last night’s are more than a result – they are spirit, heart, and blood for this country,” he wrote.
“Our pride is stronger than the hate of the critics. Kosovo always rises and fights for victory. We win together, we lose together, always one heart, one team,” the Dardanians’ star concluded.
