The process of decorating the main squares of the capital has officially begun ahead of the end-of-year holidays, aiming to bring a festive atmosphere to the city.

The decoration works include Skënderbeu Square, Mother Teresa Square, and Zahir Pajaziti Square, which are among the most frequented public spaces in Prishtina.

Workers have started installing decorative lighting and festive elements, which are expected to give the city a warmer and more celebratory appearance, reports KosovaPress.

While several municipalities across the country have already completed their holiday decorations, Prishtina appears to be slightly delayed this year, reportedly due to budgetary and procedural issues.

Despite the delay, city officials expect the decorations to be completed in the coming days, transforming the capital into a festive destination for residents and visitors alike.
