The Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRrE) has decided to reduce district heating tariffs for consumers in Prishtina and Gjakova.
ZRrE Board Chairman Ymer Fejzullahu announced that heating tariffs will be reduced by around 4% for consumers supplied by Termokos in Prishtina and by approximately 5% for consumers in Gjakova.
“We held the meeting today and decided on tariff reductions. There will be a 5% decrease for Gjakova and a 4% decrease for Termokos, applicable only to consumers with metering systems,” Fejzullahu said.
For the 2026 heating season, the Energy Regulatory Office approved the following tariffs:
- Household consumers without meters: €0.76 per square meter per month
- Commercial and institutional consumers: €0.95 per square meter per month
The decision aims to ease the financial burden on consumers while ensuring the sustainability of district heating services.
