Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Tirana today to participate in the European Political Community Summit. He was welcomed at the airport by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, reports Rks News.
In a brief statement, Erdogan expressed optimism about the upcoming developments, saying in Turkish that they “expect a lot from the cooperation with my Albanian brother.”
He emphasized that from Albania, “the voice of peace” will be heard around the world.
The summit is being held with the participation of European and Western Balkan leaders, focusing on the political and economic future of the region and Europe as a whole.
