Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has spoken about the situation in northern Kosovo and the presence of Turkish KFOR troops in the area.

Erdogan stated that Turkish KFOR members are in the north to maintain peace and stability, adding that as long as Turkish KFOR is present there, there will be no problems.

“Turkey’s KFOR is in that area — why are they there? For peace, for calm. And as long as Turkish KFOR is there, inshallah, there won’t and can’t be any problems,” Erdogan said at a press conference, according to Mitropol, as reported by Klankosova.tv.

The Turkish President took part in the NATO Summit held in The Hague, Netherlands.
