The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received a congratulatory message from her Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Kosovo’s Independence.
In his message, Erdogan extended his warmest congratulations to Osmani and the people of Kosovo, on behalf of himself and the Turkish nation, emphasizing the historic, human, and cultural ties between the two countries.
He reiterated Turkey’s unwavering support for Kosovo’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its efforts to affirm its place on the international stage, recalling that Turkey was one of the first countries to recognize Kosovo’s independence.
President Erdogan highlighted the mutual willingness to strengthen and expand bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest.
