Erdogan Responds After Putin-Trump Meeting in Alaska

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, commented on the summit held in Alaska between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling it a hopeful development for ending the conflict in Ukraine.

Through a post on the social media platform X, Erdoğan expressed his support for the talks and emphasized the importance of including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in this peace process.

He highlighted that such dialogue could serve as a foundation for building a long-term peace.

“Turkey remains committed to providing its support for any initiative aimed at establishing peace and stability in the region,” Erdoğan stated.
