Eric Trump, son of U.S. President Donald Trump, highlighted China’s role as a key player in the global cryptocurrency market while praising the progress the United States made in this sector under his father’s leadership.
“Once he took office, he embraced the digital revolution because he understands that this is the future of finance. And just like that, we went from 0 to 100 immediately,” Eric Trump said during a Bitcoin conference held in Hong Kong.
He emphasized that the Trump administration made significant strides in developing digital assets in a very short period.
“I think, as far as America is concerned, we made more progress in digital assets in the past seven months under his presidency than perhaps in the previous ten years,” he added.
Since the start of the new term, the Trump administration has pushed forward crypto-friendly legislation and regulations, while the Trump family has been actively involved in expanding their businesses in the digital industry.
