EU Commissioner Marta Kos to Visit Bosnia and Herzegovina from September 21–24

European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) from September 21 to 24 to reaffirm the European Union’s support for the country’s future EU membership and encourage authorities to accelerate the reform process ahead of the first intergovernmental conference, according to BHRT.

During her visit, Marta Kos will meet with members of the Presidency of BiH, the Chair of the Council of Ministers Borjana Krišto, and the Chair of the Central Election Commission Irena Hadžiabdić.

She is scheduled to visit Brus, Visoko, and Vareš, and in Sarajevo, she will attend the signing ceremony for the construction of the new Ars Aevi Museum of Contemporary Art, funded through the EU4Culture program, and open the conference “Critical Voices Under Pressure.”

On Wednesday, September 24, Kos will address the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will meet with representatives of civil society organizations, media, local communities, influential women in business, and youth from across the country.
