European Union Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, is set to visit Albania on March 13, where she will engage in high-level meetings with key state officials.
Kos will begin her visit with a meeting with Albanian President Bajram Begaj before holding discussions with Prime Minister Edi Rama. The two are expected to address the media in a joint press conference.
The Commissioner will also participate in a conference on EU enlargement at the College of Europe before meeting with Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali.
Her visit comes at a crucial time for Albania’s EU accession process, as the country continues its path toward full membership in the European bloc.
