The European Union Delegation in Albania congratulated Prime Minister Edi Rama and the members of his newly appointed cabinet on Monday for officially taking office.
In an official statement posted on the Delegation’s Facebook page, the EU emphasized that Albania has the potential to achieve its ambitious goal of completing EU accession negotiations by the end of 2027.
“Congratulations to Prime Minister Edi Rama and all ministers on taking office. With sustained efforts to adopt and implement the necessary reforms through transparent and inclusive processes, Albania can reach the ambitious target of closing EU accession negotiations by the end of 2027. We look forward to working with all Albanian stakeholders to achieve this historic milestone, for the benefit of Albanian citizens,” the statement read.
The EU’s message underlines its continued support for Albania’s integration into European structures and highlights the importance of reform, transparency, and collaboration among Albanian political actors.
