The European Union has emphasized that it is crucial for Kosovo to swiftly form a new government, as the country has been stalled for over two months following the latest parliamentary elections.
“A swift formation of the Government is essential for Kosovo to move forward with key reforms across all sectors,” stated the EU Office in Prishtina in a written response to Radio Free Europe on Friday.
According to the EU, these reforms are necessary to improve the quality of life and living conditions for Kosovo’s citizens. The delay in forming new institutions is seen as a major obstacle to Kosovo’s democratic and developmental progress.
