Giovanni Pietro Barbano, the head of the EULEX mission in Kosovo, met today with Gazmend Hoxha, the General Director of the Kosovo Police, to discuss enhancing their ongoing excellent cooperation for better service and protection of all communities in Kosovo.
Barbano stated on social media platform “X” that he had a very constructive discussion with Hoxha. He reiterated EULEX’s strong commitment to supporting Kosovo’s law enforcement institutions on their path to the EU, through a supervisory and advisory role in upholding the rule of law and promoting respect for human rights.
“Amid unresolved challenges and new opportunities, we discussed how to further strengthen our excellent ongoing cooperation to better serve and protect all communities in Kosovo,” Barbano said.
