Giovanni Pietro Barbano, Head of EULEX in Kosovo, announced that the European Union Rule of Law Mission is actively monitoring the security situation across the country on the day of the parliamentary elections. Through its ground patrols, EULEX is ensuring the free exercise of voting rights, with particular attention to minority communities.
Barbano stated, “Elections are currently taking place in Kosovo. EULEX, through its ground patrols monitored by our Situation and Coordination Center, is overseeing the security situation across Kosovo to ensure the free exercise of the right to vote, with a focus on minority communities.”
