The Israeli military has issued an “urgent warning” to Iranian civilians, urging them to evacuate immediately from a large area in Tehran, as further airstrikes are expected.
“In the coming hours, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) will operate in the area, as it has over recent days across Tehran, targeting the military infrastructure of the Iranian regime,” wrote IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee on the social media platform X.
The warning included a map showing areas of District 3 of Tehran, where civilians were specifically urged to leave.
“Your presence in this area endangers your life,” the statement concluded.
This comes amid rapidly escalating tensions and a series of retaliatory attacks between Israel and Iran, following deadly strikes on both sides.
