A provocative incident was reported today on the Gjakova–Pristina road, where a group of 10 motorcyclists carrying Serbian flags paraded through towns, raising three fingers – a Serbian nationalist symbol – toward citizens.
Sources from the Kosovo Police told Gazeta Sinjali that patrol units from the Regional Directorate in Gjakova were immediately mobilized after receiving the information. The Police Station in Klina was also notified to establish a checkpoint.
The Rapid Response Unit from Gjakova followed the group of bikers up to the Gjakova–Klina–Pristina intersection. Despite efforts to stop them, nine of the bikers continued toward Pristina, ignoring police orders to halt. Meanwhile, one biker split from the group and headed toward Klina.
The event has sparked public outrage due to the provocative nature of the actions and the symbols displayed.
The Kosovo Police is continuing investigations to identify and detain those involved. It remains unclear whether the group had any official permit for this type of parade or any affiliation with an organized event.
