Rks News has learned of a sensitive incident that occurred today in Gjilan, involving a KEDS official and a citizen, resulting in two separate criminal cases.
According to Sinjal sources, on September 17, 2025, at approximately 11:55 AM on “Avdulla Presheva” street, citizen Agim Gashi accused KEDS official Nehat Bllaca of accepting a bribe.
Gashi stated that he had given Bllaca €50, of which €30 was intended to settle an electricity bill and €20 for a private service. After verifying that only €30 had been applied to the bill, Gashi became upset and demanded accountability from Bllaca, accusing him of misappropriating the remaining €20.
On the other hand, Bllaca admitted to performing a private service outside of his official duties, for which he received €20, while the remaining amount was used to pay the electricity bill.
Both individuals were taken to the police station for questioning. Following consultation with the Prosecutor’s Office, two separate cases were initiated: a criminal case of “Assault” against Agim Gashi, forwarded to the Investigation Unit, and a case of “Bribery” against Nehat Bllaca, submitted to the Regional Investigation Unit – Department for Economic Crimes.
Investigations regarding this incident are ongoing.
