A serious case of threats against a high-level state official has led to the identification and arrest of a person from Prishtina.
Sources from the Prosecution confirmed to Gazeta Sinjali that on May 28, 2025, the Sector for Investigation of Serious Crimes within the Directorate for Investigation of Serious Crimes (DHKOKR) in Prishtina initiated a criminal case for the offense of “Threat,” after the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, was threatened through the social media platform Facebook.
Following investigative actions, on May 29, a 26-year-old individual, L.SH, was identified and arrested. He was interrogated in the capacity of a suspect.
By decision of the Duty Prosecutor from the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina – General Department, the suspect has been placed in 48-hour detention. The investigation continues under the supervision of the case prosecutor.
