The Kosovo Police, through the Directorate for International Police Cooperation and the specialized FAST unit, successfully carried out the arrest today of a foreign national wanted under an international arrest warrant.
Sources from Indeksonline report that the arrested individual is Turkish national Mustafa Olum. Olum was detained today in the Bregu i Diellit neighborhood of Prishtina. He was highly wanted for offenses related to pedophilia.
Olum was wanted by INTERPOL under an international arrest warrant issued by the authorities of another country, on suspicion of committing criminal offenses related to the exploitation of minors and unlawful deprivation of liberty.
By decision of the on-duty prosecutor, a 48-hour police detention measure was imposed, after which further legal procedures will follow in accordance with international police cooperation agreements and practices.
