On November 20 and 21, KFOR, EULEX, and the Kosovo Police will conduct a joint exercise at Camp Vrellë, titled “Golden Sword 2025.”
The Kosovo Security Force will also participate, in line with its original civil protection mandate.
According to KFOR, the exercise will involve a large number of personnel, vehicles, and resources operating within and around the training area, as well as along adjacent main communication routes.
“The exercise will test crisis-management skills, capabilities, and procedures across a range of complex security scenarios, including those involving the safe handling and disposal of explosive devices and hazardous materials,” the announcement states.
KFOR Commander Özkan Ulutaş emphasized:
“This joint exercise symbolizes our strong commitment to fostering mutual cooperation and coordination for the benefit of all those living in Kosovo.”
