Serbian activist Natasha Kandić, speaking via live connection on the show Rubikon on Klan Kosova, commented on the exhibition “Massacres in Kosovo 1998–1999”, which has triggered strong public outrage over alleged distortion of history.

She emphasized the importance of presenting verifiable facts based on accurate evidence.

“It is very important to uncover data that is truly verifiable and that demonstrates an understanding of what it means to be a prisoner, what it means to be deprived of liberty, and what it means when someone is listed in a database as if they were a soldier,” she said.

Kandić was critical of how the exhibition was organized, stressing that it lacked a professional approach in presenting the material.

“What I saw in that exhibition, not only regarding Dubrava but also other cases, shows a complete lack of knowledge on how to create an exhibition — focusing on numbers instead of names. At a basic level, it is clear that such an approach reflects ignorance and insensitivity, such as presenting that 48 armed individuals were killed in Dubrava prison,” she said.

“Why hold an exhibition if it does not show how people suffered or who was responsible? Because in Dubrava and in other places, horrific things happened,” Kandić added.
