The constitutive session of the Ninth Legislature of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo continued today, under the chairmanship of MP Avni Dehari.
Chairman Dehari reiterated the request for political entities that have not yet proposed MPs to serve on the electoral commission for the secret ballot election of the Speaker of the Assembly to do so. However, there were once again no proposals.
Afterward, the composition of the commission, with the members proposed in previous continuations of the session, was put to a vote.
The chair of the constitutive session stated that 54 MPs voted in favor, with no votes against and no abstentions. As a result, the Assembly will reconvene within 48 hours—specifically on May 13 at 10:00 AM.
