False Bomb Threat Disrupts Skopje International Airport Operations

Skopje International Airport temporarily halted operations early this morning following a bomb threat.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, at 02:41 AM, a report was received via the emergency number 112 about a possible explosive device on a plane scheduled to depart for Turkey.

Special police units and an anti-terror team immediately conducted thorough checks. Authorities later confirmed that the threat was false, and no explosive devices were found.

By 06:00 AM, the airport resumed normal operations, and flights continued without further disruptions.
