The leader of the Social Democratic NISMA, Fatmir Limaj, commented following the failure to elect the “Kurti 3” government. He described the situation as a disaster for the country, emphasizing that Kosovo has remained paralyzed for eight consecutive months and continues to be in the same state.
Limaj called for the Speaker of Parliament, Dimal Basha, to resign, adding that he should not hold any public office, including the position proposed to him today as Minister of Infrastructure.
“It is a step in the right direction for reflection, but it is not sufficient. Dimal Basha should not hold any public office, and he must resign because he is causing great harm to Kosovo,” he stated.
According to Limaj, the political crisis engulfing the country is a result of the lack of institutional responsibility and delayed political decisions.
