Faton Peci, a Member of Parliament from Vetëvendosje (LVV), spoke to the media regarding potential developments in the Assembly, emphasizing that LVV considers itself a caretaker government.

Peci announced that the party will proceed with the same strategy during today’s parliamentary session, favoring a secret ballot vote.

“Those who have the power to bring about change are the other parties. We are the caretaker government, which means we can wait for change, but the main responsibility lies with parties such as PDK, LDK, and AAK. All our deputies participating will vote in favor of unblocking the Assembly,” Peci stated.

He further added that the secret ballot is the best method to resolve the current political deadlock, noting that many deputies have privately expressed frustration that the Assembly remains unconstituted.

“Many deputies in private conversations say their conscience hurts because the Assembly has not yet been constituted,” Peci noted.
