The Turkish basketball team Fenerbahçe made history by winning its second EuroLeague title, the most prestigious club competition in European basketball.
In Sunday night’s final held in Abu Dhabi, Fenerbahçe secured a convincing 81–70 victory over Monaco, bringing the trophy back to their collection with a dominant performance.
Nigel Hayer-Davis was the standout player of the match, leading the Turkish side with 23 points and 9 rebounds, making crucial contributions during key moments of the game.
On their way to the final, Fenerbahçe defeated Panathinaikos in the semifinals with a score of 82–76, while Monaco eliminated Olympiacos with a 78–68 win.
This marks Fenerbahçe’s second EuroLeague title.
