In what is the 52nd and final attempt to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo before the expiration of the constitutional deadline, foreign ambassadors are expected to attend the crucial parliamentary session scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 AM.

The German Embassy has confirmed that Ambassador Jorn Rohde, along with other international representatives, will be present in the Assembly chamber.

“Since tomorrow marks the last opportunity to constitute the Assembly before the Constitutional Court’s deadline, Ambassador Rohde, together with other international colleagues, plans to attend the session in Parliament,” the embassy’s statement reads.

The 30-day deadline, issued by the Constitutional Court, expires on July 26, making tomorrow’s session the final opportunity for political actors to elect the Speaker and formally constitute the legislature.

Earlier, President Vjosa Osmani submitted a request to the Court seeking clarification on the legal consequences should the Assembly fail to convene in time. She expressed frustration, stating that “no compromise is in sight.”

With international attention focused and Kosovo’s democratic credibility on the line, all eyes will be on the parliamentary chamber tomorrow morning.
