The Finnish Border Guard stated on Friday that it suspects four Russian fighter jets violated the Nordic country’s airspace on June 10th.
Last Monday, Finland’s Ministry of Defense reported its suspicion that Russian fighter jets had breached its airspace for about two minutes in the early morning hours.
“During the ongoing investigation, it has become apparent that, in addition to one previously reported Russian aircraft, there are also reasons to suspect that three other aircraft caused territorial violations,” the Border Guard agency said in a statement on Friday.
