An incident occurred on Thursday evening in the Pejton neighborhood of Prishtina, specifically on “Ukshin Hoti” street, where a car caught fire. The incident took place in the underground parking of a building, causing material damage, reports RKS NEWS.
Sinjali has learned that the car that caught fire was an electric vehicle, and as a result, residents of the Pejton neighborhood were left without electricity for almost the entire night.
Police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene, where they carried out all necessary procedures to extinguish the fire.
The Kosovo Police have also confirmed the news.
“At around 22:30, it was reported that on ‘Ukshin Hoti’ street in Prishtina, an electric vehicle caught fire in the underground parking of a building,” said Police spokesman Agron Borovci.
It is reported that the police have already launched an investigation to determine the details and circumstances of the incident.
