Firearms and Vehicle Seized in Prizren, Two Suspects Wanted

Prizren Police have seized a vehicle and several firearms during an operation on “Enver Hadri” Street, while two suspects remain at large.

According to the police statement, on September 9 officers received information about gunshots fired on “Mbreti Pleurat” Street in Prizren. Following the report, investigative units launched field operations, gathering evidence that led to the identification of two suspects.

On Wednesday, police located and seized a vehicle believed to be connected to the case.

“The suspect was not found at his residence. Acting on a verbal order from the case prosecutor, and in the presence of the suspect’s father and a state-appointed lawyer, searches were carried out at two locations in Prizren,” the statement reads.

The crime-technical unit documented and photographed all evidence at the scene.

Both suspects are now wanted and face charges of:

  • “Causing general danger”
  • “Use of a firearm or dangerous weapon”
  • “Unauthorized possession, control, or ownership of weapons”

Weapons seized during the search:

  • One AK-47 automatic rifle
  • One semi-automatic rifle with scope
  • One hunting rifle
  • 161 rounds of ammunition of various calibers

Police said investigations are ongoing to locate and arrest the suspects.
