The Mayor of Mitrovica, Bedri Hamza, has responded to the fires that have broken out in the village of Kqiq. Hamza stated that he is currently at the scene to closely follow the situation.
“Throughout the day today, the residents of Kqiq village have been battling the fires, which continue to burn at this hour. As the Mayor of Mitrovica, I am on-site to personally monitor the situation and to do everything I can!” Hamza wrote.
He thanked the firefighters who are working to assist the residents during these difficult moments.
“Heartfelt thanks to the firefighters for their professionalism and dedication, to the residents for their cooperation, and to everyone helping during these challenging times,” Hamza concluded.
