Tirana, Albania — Five cadets from Kosovo have successfully graduated from the Armed Forces Academy of the Republic of Albania and will now continue their service as officers in the Kosovo Security Force (KSF).
The news was officially announced by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kosovo, following a formal graduation ceremony held yesterday in Tirana. The event was attended by Kosovo’s acting Minister of Defence, Ejup Maqedonci, at the invitation of Albanian Defence Minister Pirro Vengu.
“With the support of Minister Pirro Vengu and the Chief of the General Staff, General Arben Kingji, the number of Kosovo cadets studying at this prestigious academy is set to quadruple next year,” the ministry stated.
The five newly graduated cadets represent a deepening of military cooperation between Kosovo and Albania, with the Armed Forces Academy seen as a vital pillar in the development of future leadership within the KSF.
Minister Maqedonci thanked his Albanian counterpart for the warm hospitality and for the close inter-institutional collaboration between the two countries.
This graduation marks another important step in strengthening regional defense cooperation and professional military education for Kosovo’s armed forces.
