Five Serbs Detained in the North, Police Provide Details!

Police units have reported several cases of illegal border crossings in northern Kosovo.

On Sunday around 5:30 PM in Zernosek, Leposaviq, police detained a Serbian male suspected of crossing the border illegally. The case has been taken under review by the prosecutor and will proceed through regular procedures.

Similarly, in the village of Bubë in Zubin Potok, around 7:30 PM, a car and a truck with a Serbian male and two females were stopped for also crossing the border illegally from Serbia into Kosovo.

After being interviewed, the suspects were released based on the prosecutor’s decision, and the case will move forward through standard procedures.

Another incident occurred in Bello Bërdo, Leposaviq, where a Kosovar male was arrested for illegal border crossing. After being interviewed, the suspect was also released by the prosecutor’s decision, with the case proceeding as per usual.

The Kosovo Police continue to work diligently to maintain order and security at the borders.
