A one-day strike by workers is taking place at 13 airports in Germany, including Frankfurt and Munich, causing the cancellation of most flights, reports Gazeta Sinjali.
The 24-hour strike is organized by the ver.di union and involves public sector employees, as well as security personnel.
In relation to this, the National Center for Border Management has announced that flight cancellations are expected.
“Due to the general strike by operations staff at German airports, flight cancellations are expected today for direct flights connecting this region with Germany,” according to their announcement.
